Baltimore to the Poconos is 100 miles — 1 hour 45 minutes on I-476 North and I-80 West. One of the shortest long-haul routes we handle and one of the most scenic (late-fall foliage through the turnpike is remarkable). The Poconos are Baltimore's classic mountain weekend destination: ski resorts in winter, waterparks in summer, destination weddings year-round, corporate retreats all year, and youth summer camps in July and August.

Route logistics are simple — I-476 turnpike has electronic tolling (EZ-Pass), rest stops every 30-40 miles, and clean sight lines for coach buses. The final approach to most Pocono resort destinations is on county roads with occasional tight turns — we route based on the specific destination and have alternate approaches for coach vs mini-coach. Most Pocono resort venues have bus-friendly drop zones; the few that don't, we coordinate with the venue for a satellite drop and shuttle arrangement.

How long is the drive in winter?
Base 1:45 drive, add 15-30 minutes for winter weather. Our drivers have winter-driving experience on I-80; we don't cancel trips for typical snow but do add buffer time.
Can the bus handle the resort access roads?
Yes for all major resorts (Camelback, Shawnee, Split Rock, Woodloch, Skytop, Pocono Manor). A few ultra-remote venues need a shuttle from a main-road drop; our dispatch handles those cases.
Are Friday-evening Pocono drives bad in traffic?
Yes — add 30-60 minutes for Friday departure from Baltimore during peak winter and summer weekends. Best to leave by 2 PM to beat the rush.
Can we BYOB on the ride up?

Do you coordinate with Pocono wedding venues?
