The terminal
- Address: Cruise Maryland Terminal, 2001 East McComas Street, Baltimore, MD 21230, in South Baltimore next to I-95.
- Cruise lines: Cruise Maryland's 2026 schedule lists Carnival Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International. Check your cruise line for your ship's embarkation time.
- Getting there: from the south or west, I-95 north to Exit 55 (Key Highway) and straight onto East McComas Street; from the north, I-95 south through the Fort McHenry Tunnel (far-right bore) to Exit 55, then left under the overpass onto East McComas Street.
Why groups use a shuttle instead of parking
The terminal's secured long-term lots charge per vehicle per day (Cruise Maryland lists $25 for cars and SUVs from April 1, 2026), so a group arriving in four cars pays four times for every night of the cruise. One shuttle drops everyone, and their bags, at the terminal and is back at the curb on return day. Cruise Maryland notes that taxis, shuttle buses and limousines have their own drop-off points at the terminal.

Embarkation day
- The terminal entrance opens at 8:00 a.m. or two hours after the ship arrives. Do not arrive before the embarkation time on your ticket; we schedule pickup to match it.
- Only ticketed passengers with a government photo ID or passport can enter the passenger building, so friends who ride along to see you off stay with the vehicle.
- Put cruise line luggage tags on every bag before you board the shuttle; untagged passengers are sent to a luggage-tag tent at the entrance.
Return day
- Gates open at 8:30 a.m. for pickups. Passengers cannot leave the ship until U.S. Customs and Border Protection clears it, which Cruise Maryland says takes about two to three hours after the ship docks. We watch the clock, not just the arrival time.
- Limo, sedan and shuttle drivers wait in the designated Limo/Shuttle line by the passenger building.
- There is no re-entry into the terminal once you leave, so plan for weather while you wait.
Common trips
- Home to ship: anywhere in Maryland, DC, northern Virginia, Delaware or south-central Pennsylvania.
- Fly in, sail out: BWI is the closest airport; we also run DCA and IAD (DCA group transfers, all airport transfers).
- Hotel the night before: Inner Harbor and BWI-area hotels, then a morning drop at the terminal (Inner Harbor, BWI area).
- Wedding and reunion groups: one coach for the whole party, with luggage space.
Pick the vehicle by headcount and by how the day runs: Sprinter vans for small groups, party buses when the ride is part of the fun, minicoaches and full-size motorcoaches when you need luggage space or more seats. The quote form shows what is open on your date, with the price.
