Charm City • Eastern Shore • Naval AcademySchool Bus Rental in Baltimore, MD
48 to 72 passenger yellow school buses for charter rental — field trips, camps, sports teams, community events, and any group that needs budget-friendly high-capacity transport.
About our School Buses
We operate full-size yellow school buses for charter — 48 to 72 passenger units with standard school-bus seat geometry, 40-year DOT safety record, and drivers who hold a CDL with P+S endorsements (the school-bus-specific federal certifications). Baltimore-area schools, camps, and nonprofits charter yellow school buses when they need high-capacity transport at the most economical per-passenger rate in our fleet, and when the trip profile suits seated-only, highway-and-local-roads travel without amenities.
Typical clients: Public and private K-12 schools, summer camps, sports leagues, churches, Scouts, community nonprofits, corporate family-day organizers.

Frequently asked questions
Do school buses have seat belts?
Federal NHTSA research has found the compartmentalized seat geometry (tall padded seatbacks, close spacing) protects students equivalently to lap-and-shoulder belts for school-bus-speed travel. Newer units in our fleet add 3-point belts; older units are compartmentalized-only. Both meet DOT standards.
Can we charter a school bus for adult groups?
Yes. The bus itself is fine for adults — it just's no amenities (no restroom, no A/C on older units, bench seating). Adult groups typically charter them for budget-conscious short trips. For adult comfort on longer trips, our mini-coach or full coach is the better call.
Do school buses have air conditioning?
Some. Our newer units are A/C equipped; older units rely on roof vents and open windows. Ask when booking if summer A/C is a requirement.
Can a school bus go on the interstate?
Yes. Yellow school buses are fully highway-rated. The practical limit is driver hours and passenger comfort on long trips — for anything over 2–3 hours each way, we'll often suggest a coach instead.
Do we need special paperwork for a school trip?
Most schools and camps maintain parental-consent forms on file separately. We don't collect those — we just need the contract, insurance cert (which we provide), and the itinerary from the school coordinator.
Can we bring food on a school bus?
Yes, for day trips. No hot food (no warmers, no heat), no open beverages on school-bus fleet. Packed lunches, sealed juice boxes, snacks are all fine.
