About Wedding Limos in Baltimore
Wedding transportation in Baltimore is its own category — different from a date night, different from a corporate run, different from a prom limo. It demands tighter timing, more coordination with planners and venues, more contingency planning, and a chauffeur who has worked weddings before and knows that the schedule on paper is not the schedule in practice. We've handled wedding bookings across every major Baltimore-area venue — Cylburn Arboretum, The Belvedere, George Peabody Library, Evergreen Museum, American Visionary Art Museum, Mount Washington Mill Dye House, Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum, Sagamore Pendry, Cylburn Mansion, Gramercy Mansion, Hampton National Historic Site, and the Maryland Zoo. Our wedding-trained chauffeurs know which venues have tight driveways, which need a stretch-SUV instead of a low-slung limousine, and which have established staging zones for the limo to wait through the ceremony.
The Baltimore Wedding Limo Lineup
Most Baltimore weddings book one of three vehicle setups for the bridal party. Setup A — single 10-passenger Cadillac or Chrysler 300 stretch limousine, holds 6-8 bridesmaids comfortably with full gowns plus bouquets. The classic. Setup B — 14- or 20-passenger stretch SUV (Hummer, Navigator), more headroom and room for hair and dress space, popular for larger bridal parties. Setup C — split format with the bride and maid of honor in a 6-passenger executive sedan or stretch, and the rest of the bridal party in a separate 10-passenger or 14-passenger vehicle. Setup C is increasingly popular for the privacy it gives the bride during the prep-to-ceremony window. Often paired with a separate parent car (Lincoln Town Car or Cadillac Escalade) and a guest-shuttle coach (32- or 40-passenger from our charter coach fleet).
How Wedding Limo Routing Works at Each Baltimore Venue
Cylburn Arboretum — the main mansion driveway fits a 10-passenger stretch but not a 20-passenger SUV. We stage at the visitor center lot and walk the bridal party 30 seconds to the mansion entrance. Photo-stop favorites: the formal gardens behind the mansion, the conservatory.
The Belvedere — front entrance on Chase Street fits any limousine fine. Wedding pickups stage at the side curb on Saint Paul. Photo opportunities include the rooftop (The 13th Floor) before or after ceremony.
George Peabody Library — Mount Vernon Place location. Tight curb access; we stage at the Belvedere a block away and walk you the short distance, or use the Saint Paul curb if the city has it clear.
Evergreen Museum — the driveway is narrow with a sharp curve at the main entrance. We default to an 8-passenger stretch (not 10) here unless the bridal party requires the larger vehicle. Stretch SUVs work fine at the parking-lot entrance.
Mount Washington Mill Dye House — Falls Road access, easy for any limousine. Wedding pickups stage at the front of the mill complex.
Sagamore Pendry — Fells Point waterfront, surprisingly limo-friendly. The Pendry's valet team works directly with our dispatcher.
Outer venues — Hampton National Historic Site (Towson), Gramercy Mansion (north of Pikesville), Westin Annapolis, all routine. The drive time is the planning variable, not the venue access.
Coordinating with Your Wedding Planner
The standard Baltimore Trips wedding workflow: booking confirmation 6 months out, vehicle category locked. Month-of: detailed schedule built with your planner — pickup time at prep suite, ceremony arrival window, photo-stop list and timing, reception arrival, exit timing. 7 days before: confirmation email to your planner, your venue coordinator, and you with chauffeur name, vehicle plate, and the day-of dispatcher number. Day-of: chauffeur arrives 15-20 minutes early at every staging point. Real-time changes route through dispatch. Post-event: invoice reconciliation; deposit and overrun (if any) settle within 7 days. For couples using a planner, the planner usually owns the dispatcher number; for couples without a planner, the maid of honor or best man typically owns it.

Licensed, Insured, DOT-Inspected
Every Baltimore Trips vehicle is DOT-inspected and the operator carries $1.5M–$5M in commercial auto liability insurance. Every chauffeur holds a current Commercial Driver License (CDL) with passenger endorsement plus a federal medical certificate. Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for venues, employer events, schools, or weddings can be issued before pickup — request one when you book and we will email it within 24 hours. Operating authority is active and on file with the FMCSA.
